This post would complain rather tediously about the loss of general knowledge of the ancient world, after someone came up with the word "nemeses", and someone in Slate wrote: "I was her mentor, and she was my mentee".
Trouble is, I can't correct any corporatespeak -- or its bastard stepchild, total etymological ignorance -- because a good half of its proponents are learning English within the corporation and my corrections will only be seen as a try at cultural purity if not a subtle racism.
